FOSTV159 - HAND MADE FLOWERS

I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge.  You are to create a card using hand made flowers.

Here is my card:

For my card this week I chose the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Birds of the Orient stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop and stamped it using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  For my hand made flowers I die cut different size heart dies putting four hearts from each size together to create the flowers and the center was a small flower punch.  Clear Wink of Stella Brush was then added to the flowers for a little sparkle.  The leaves and swirl die is from Heartfelt Creations which I cut up to rearrange the shape.  The butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn Designs and was sponged with Distress ink.  All of the elements were then attached to a Spellbinders Labels Twenty One.  The background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder from the Decorative Tile Set.

I hope you'll play along with us this week.  You can find the Friends of SpeedyTV challenge HERE.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful week.

FOSTV156 - EASTER CARD

This week's challenge is to create an Easter card.  With Easter just about a month away its time to get started so...

Here is my card:

For my card this week I chose the Hydrangea stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop.  I stamped the Hydrangea with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored it with Copic markers and then cut it out.  I decided it needed some dimension so I stamped it again, cut out some additional petals and adhered them with dimensionals.  Mini rhinestones were added to the center of each petal for a little bling.  The background is embossed with an Anna Griffin Calligraphy Frame embossing folder and the sentiment is an Anna Griffin embossing template.
