This week's challenge is to create a card with Cut-away Embossing. You can find the tutorial HERE.
Here is my card:
This was a fun technique that I had never tried before but I will definitely be making more cards using this technique. For my card this week I
chose the Cuttlebug Geometric Rings embossing folder and a Martha Stewart
Pinking Scallop border punch. I chose the sentiment from the Tree Scene
and the diamond flowers from the Background Diamonds and Flowers set both from
MFP Stamp Shop. The sentiment was stamped
with Versafind Onyx Black ink on my base card and the embossed and punched
pieces were adhered with foam mounting tape. The two flowers on each end
were stamped on white card stock with Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red ink
and adhered at the top and bottom on the diamond with pop dots.
I hope you'll join us this week, you can find the challenge HERE.
Hugs & Blessings,
