Asian Birthday

This card was created using the beautiful Graphic 45 Birdsong cardstock, Spellbinders Label One Die and an Oriental Poppy stamp from About Art Accents.  The stamp was colored using Copic markers.

Another Asian Birthday card using the Simon Says Daisy Die and some beautiful Washi paper.  I have had the Happy Birthday Stamp for years and the name stamped on the side of the stamp says "Stampcites" but I don't remember where I got it.

Welcome To My Blog

I never would have considered the idea of having a blog but here I am...my own blog, wow.  This blog has come about because I was asked to be a design team member for the Oriental Sketch Challenge for Mark's Finest Papers.  I am excited and nervous at the same time because I never would have thought that I would be asked to become a design team member or have a blog.  In my wildest dreams I never would have expected this but I am over the top with excitement.  This is also a wonderful way to be able to show my cards and cards of friends but I am so new to blogging that I hope you'll be patient with me and forgive me when I mess up.

I have a passion for card making and paper crafting that came about over 25 years ago when I bought my first stamp at a stamp store in San Francisco on Pier 39 and that passion hasn't stopped.

Stamping has come a long way from when I first started.  Among my favorite tools would be dies, dies and more dies.  Just when I think I have enough something new arrives and it's oh boy that is amazing.  There are new embossing folders, inks, designer papers, bling, gadgets of all kinds and they're all calling my name so my wish list just keeps growing.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and hope you'll enjoy what I have to share.

Hugs & Blessings,
Barbie
