This week I chose to use a Sizzix Square Flip-its card die for the base adding some designer paper to the sides.  The flower image is from the Flower Blocks set and the sentiment is from the Tree Scene set which were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Both sets are from MFP Stamp Shop.  It is a little hard to see but I did "doodle"  around each of the frames.

I hope you'll join us this week, you can find the challenge HERE.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful creative week.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE 271

This week's challenge is to create a card with a beach scene.

Here is my card:

I don't really have any beach type images so I improvised.  For my card, I created the beach scene by tearing some strips of paper for the sand and water.  I stamped the crane from the Birds of the Orient stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the beak and legs with a Copic marker.  The palm tree was cut from my Cricut, the "Beach Time" was cut from an alphabet die set and the large circle was cut from a Spellbinders circle.  I didn't have anything to use as sea shells so I added few sequins instead.  The front panel was then added using dimensions.

I hope you'll join us this week, you can find the challenge HERE.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful creative week.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE 270

This week's challenge is to create a card using white embossing powder on a color and hi-light with a marker or ink of same color.

Here is my card:

For my card this week I started off by embossing my background with an Anna Griffin Matelassé embossing folder.  I stamped the hydrangea with Versamark ink and embossed it in white embossing powder, colored the petals with a Copic marker and then fussy cut it out.  The sentiment was also stamped with Versamark ink, embossed with white embossing powder and cut out with a Spellbinders die called Vintage Sentiment Tag Dies from JustRite Papercrafts.  Both the hydrangea and the sentiment were then adhered using pop dots.   The hydrangea is from the Hydrangea stamp set and the sentiment is from the Animal Birthdays stamp set both from  MFP Stamp Shop.

I hope you'll join us this week, you can find the challenge HERE.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful creative week.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE 269

This week's challenge is to create a card with Cut-away Embossing.  You can find the tutorial HERE.
 Here is my card:

This was a fun technique that I had never tried before but I will definitely be making more cards using this technique.  For my card this week I chose the Cuttlebug Geometric Rings embossing folder and a Martha Stewart Pinking Scallop border punch.  I chose the sentiment from the Tree Scene and the diamond flowers from the Background Diamonds and Flowers set both from MFP Stamp Shop.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafind Onyx Black ink on my base card and the embossed and punched pieces were adhered with foam mounting tape.  The two flowers on each end were stamped on white card stock with Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red ink and adhered at the top and bottom on the diamond with pop dots.
I hope you'll join us this week, you can find the challenge HERE.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a Happy 4th of July and a wonderful creative week.
Hugs & Blessings,
