ADD SOME SPARKLE

It's Monday and that usually meant it was time for a MFP FOSTV Challenge.  Unfortunately it's been cancelled but I thought I would share with you a card I had created.

Talk about sparkle, this card is loaded with it.  I created a center step card and used the Spellbinder Flower Power Decorative Inserts dies to create the flower images.  Lines were drawn from each flower to the center of the card.  The Lotus Blossom stamp is from the Flower Blocks set from  MFP Stamp Shop which was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic markers, cut out and then adhered to the center of the card.  I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush on each of the flowers and then added rhinestones to each flower center.

For this card I chose the KOI Fish stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop and the KOI embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  The KOI were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.  The stitched circle was cut from a My Favorite Things Blueprints 3 die set and the center strip was embossed with the Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic Texture embossing folder that I thought looked like bubbles.

I thought I would share with you another card that I had created for the design team.

This card was created using stamps from the Birds of the Orient stamp set and for the grass I used just the tips of one of the tree stamps from the Tree Greetings stamp set.  All stamps are from MFP Stamp Shop.  With the exception of the grass all images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The grass was stamped with New Leaf ink from Papertrey Ink and sponged with Shabby Shutters Distress ink.

Last FOSTV Challenge

The last challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is to create a card featuring Creatures of the Night.

Here is my card:

I really enjoyed this week's challenge and had a lot of fun creating this card.  I chose the moon and the sentiment from the Sun and Moon set and the owl from the Owls set all from MFP Stamp Shop.  The moon was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.  The owl was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic markers and cut out.  I then cut Spellbinders Picture Perfect die first with brown cardstock, then again with green, red, blue, yellow and white so I could piece it together to create the grass and houses.  It took a little longer than I thought it would but I really like the finished  look.  I used a Copic marker to color the sky and then added the owl which was adhered with dimensionals.

FOSTV161 - SPRING COLORS

This week our challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is to create a card using spring colors and I am so looking forward to spring.

Here is my card:

For my card this week I chose a designer paper for my background that reminded me of spring.  I used one of the flowers from the new stamp set called Gardenia which was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic markers and then cut out and I added dimensionals to pop it up.  The sentiment is from the Chrysanthemum set and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  All stamps are from MFP Stamp Shop.  The circles were cut from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things dies and the small label is also a Spellbinder die.

I hope you'll play along with us this week.  You can find the Friends of SpeedyTV challenge HERE.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful week.

Hugs & Blessings,
Barbie
