My card this week uses the Birds of the Orient stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop.  All images were stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

Color Challenge 48

This week the colors are NAVY BLUE, ORANGE AND MINT GREEN

Here is my card:

 

 

This week I chose the dragonfly from the Dragonflies set and the sentiment from the Chrysanthemum set all from MFP Stamp Shop.  The dragonfly was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers and the sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I also added a touch of Wink of Stella Brush in clear to the dragonfly and also the flower.  A new set of dies from My Favorite Things was also used.

FOSTV 151 - RED & BLACK

Today I joined a new challenge team called Friends of SpeedyTV (FOSTV) and I am very excited to be a part of this creative team.

This week's challenge is to make a card using Red and Black so here is what I came up with:

For my card I chose to use the Java Time stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop.  I stamped the coffee cups,  black circles and sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and the red circles were stamped with Versamark ink.

Oriental Sketch Challenge #62 on MFPSpeedyTV

This week's Oriental Sketch Challenge #62 uses this sketch:

 

Here is my card:

 

For my card this week I used the hummingbird stamp from the Oriental Joy stamp set and the flower branches from the Branch of Blossoms stamp set.  I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The background was created using the Cuttlebug Plum Blossoms embossing folder.  All stamps are from MFP Stamp Shop.

Color Challenge 47

This week's Color Challenge is RED, PINK and GREEN.

Here is my project:

 

This week I chose to create an Art Journal by altering a composition notebook.  I chose a piece of red designer paper for the front and back of the book and then added a piece of pink cardstock for the binding.  The green strip along the binding is actually a piece of green Washi tape.  I stamped the flower and butterfly stamp from the Oriental Joy set  using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers along with the additional two butterflies.  The sentiments were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink from the Works of Art set.  All stamps are from MFP Stamp Shop.

Oriental Sketch Challenge #61 on MFPSpeedyTV

This week's Oriental Sketch Challenge #61 uses this sketch:

 

Here is my card:

 

For my card this week I covered the front of an A2 size card with Washi paper and to create the gold paper I used Delicata Golden Glitz pigment ink using the direct to paper technique.  The Geisha, from the Buddha stamp set, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and popped up with dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and is from the Lanterns stamp set.  Both sets can be found at MFP Stamp Shop.

Color Challenge 46

This week's colors are PINK, YELLOW and GREEN, I hope you'll join us for this challenge.

Here is my card for this challenge:

 

This week I used the flower stamp from the Chrysanthemum set and the sentiment is from the Hot Air Balloon set.  The flower was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic markers and the Happy Birthday was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I added sparkle to the flower with the Wink of Stella Clear Brush but unfortunately it doesn't show up well.

For my card this week the bamboo and patience stamps are from the Wealthy Fish stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop.  All images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the background was embossed with the Bamboo embossing folder from Darice.

Welcome to the first Color Challenge for 2015, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year.  I am so happy to be a new member of this great team.

This week's colors are BLACK, GREY AND RED.

 For my card this week I used the flower stamp from the Flower Blocks set and the sentiment is from the Roses set.  Both images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and even though it doesn't show well I did use the Clear Wink of Stella Brush on the flower.
