This week's challenge is to create a card using gold and silver.

Here is my card:

For my card this week I stamped the tree three times with VersaMark and added the silver embossing powder but I did not heat it yet.  Then I stamped the tree two more times and added gold embossing powder but again I did not heat yet.  I then stamped the last tree so it appeared as though it was closer to the front and the sentiment and then added the gold embossing powder.  Then I heated everything at the same time.  This piece was then adhered to a piece of silver foil and then on the black card base. The tree stamp is from the Big Trees stamp set and the sentiment is from the Cardinal stamp set both from MFP Stamp Shop

I hope you'll join us this week, you can find the challenge HERE.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful creative week.

Hugs & Blessings,

  1. Gorgeous card !!! Love the technique you did to create the beautiful tree scene.

  2. Beautiful Barbie and the camera did you more favors tha it did me ...............Lis

  3. I can't even begin to tell you how much I absolutely love your stunningly beautiful card. The metallic embossing in silver and gold together on the black is beyond gorgeous. Your design is spectacular with the layered trees......and no masking required!! (Love that, since I hate to have to mask!!! Ha.) Your card is what really inspired me to join this challenge.....besides the fact that I adore playing with metallic embossing powders. :) Thanks for sharing this magnificent piece of art.
