ORIENTAL SKETCH CHALLENGE #75

Last Oriental Sketch Challenge

This will be the last MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge as it will be cancelled.  Our last challenge will be using this sketch:

Here is my card:

For this card I chose the KOI Fish stamp set from MFP Stamp Shop and the KOI embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  The KOI were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.  The stitched circle was cut from a My Favorite Things Blueprints 3 die set and the center strip was embossed with the Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic Texture embossing folder that I thought looked like bubbles.

Even though this is the last Oriental Sketch challenge please play along this week.  You can find the challenge HERE.

I thought I would share with you another card that I had created for the design team.

This card was created using stamps from the Birds of the Orient stamp set and for the grass I used just the tips of one of the tree stamps from the Tree Greetings stamp set.  All stamps are from MFP Stamp Shop.  With the exception of the grass all images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The grass was stamped with New Leaf ink from Papertrey Ink and sponged with Shabby Shutters Distress ink.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful week.

Hugs & Blessings,
Barbie

  2. Your Koi card is very creative, Barbie. Love it!

And, the Bird of the Orient card is beautiful! Love the way you created the grass to anchor the Crane.

It has been a joy creating with you on the Oriental Sketch Challenges. We've logged a lot of Oriental cards from sketch #1 through sketch #75! And, am so happy that you are sharing the card you worked ahead on for the DT group.

So glad that you will be joining us on the MFP Speedy Fox and Friends DT!
